The Piano Man instructed Stern to reassure his listening audience and relay the message that “I’m not dying!” following his recent brain disorder diagnosis. “We had dinner together, it went fine,” Stern said after sharing a post-diagnosis meal with the music legend. “[Joel] does have issues. But he said to me, ‘Yeah, you can tell people: I’m not dying.’ He wants people to know that. He’s got to deal with some medical stuff. But he was delightful. We had a great time with the wives.
