During a recent Instagram Live session with Z2 Comics, Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson surprised fans by announcing plans for a new solo album following the release of The Mandrake Project in 2024. The heavy metal legend hinted at a quicker turnaround this time, rather than the 19 year gap that followed 2005’s Tyranny Of Souls. Dickinson revealed that he is already exploring studios for the upcoming record with his solo group, The House Band Of Hell. Additionally, he shared details of an ambitious re-release of his 1994 album, Balls To Picasso, promising a “completely remixed, re-imagined, re-engineered” record featuring “additional parts, orchestras, string sections, horn sections.” Dickinson says the release should be out around “midsummer,” timed to coincide with his forthcoming tour that kicks off on August 22, marking his first extensive North American solo tour in nearly three decades.
