The night before Heart’s Royal Flush Tour was set to kick off on May 31 in Atlantic City, the Seattle rock legends had two “irreplaceable instruments” stolen from the venue. The band is seeking the return of a custom-built purple sparkle baritone Telecaster that was “crafted specifically for Nancy Wilson,” and a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin that Paul Moak has played for over 25 years, which were both stolen after Heart’s gear was loaded into Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they’re extensions of our musical souls,” Nancy says. “We’re heartbroken, and we’re asking for their safe return—no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.” Heart has offered a reward for any information leading to the safe return of the instruments, and is urging anyone with knowledge of the theft or their whereabouts to come forward.
