Oasis recently shared a previously unreleased live recording of “Supersonic” to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their iconic debut single.

The recording took place at the Limelight in Belfast on September 4, 1994. Shortly before taking to the stage that night, the band learned that their debut album, Definitely Maybe, had soared to No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart.

The version is now available as a limited edition on physical single formats, including a replica of the 1994 CD single, which also includes the white label demo of “Columbia,” and an individually numbered pearl colored 7″ vinyl.

Oasis recorded the studio version of “Supersonic” in one day at the Pink Museum Studio in Liverpool in late 1993 and released the song as the band’s debut single on April 11, 1994. It reached Number 31 on the U.K. Singles Chart.
